On the same evening as “Perversion,” this imagined story of the young woman, dressed as a cabin boy, in love with “The Captain’s Daughter,” played as a queered Harlequin Romance duet between two women before 900 audience members to a live wind symphony. The duet wanders down the aisles, past the audience to the stage, arriving in a sensuous world, shaped by the dreamy and driving sound score of Cuong.
